JESUSIST-
1. A Person who believes in the teachings of Jesus as the only way to truth, salvation and eternal life.
2. A believer who is fed up with religion and hypocrisy.
I post these definitions after someone angrily left a very amusing post to me stating that as a "Jesuit" I was blind and that the Pope was Satan. If I was actually a Jesuit that might have offended me. Since I am a Jesusist I have learned to relish and enjoy these moments. It is quite alright if someone who reads what I write disagrees. Actually, I think disagreeing with the beliefs of others and others disagreeing with my beliefs is very healthy and beneficial. It brings about open mindedness, greater truth and understanding and spiritual growth and maturity for both parties. That is IF it does not turn into two spiteful people attempting to denigrate each other. I for one refuse to do that and instead follow the example of Jesus who tried to turn every opposing word into an opportunity to teach and to learn.
I believe that all of us who follow Jesus should be open minded and peaceful enough to hear others points of view. Someone believing what they believe has no bearing on me and what I believe. Whatever revelations God has given to you do not negate or remove the revelations that He has given to me. I co-exist because Jesus co-existed. I agree with my adversaries because Jesus taught that as His followers we should agree with our adversaries. And when someone calls me blind or tells me I am following Satan. That is ok. It gives me an opportunity to take an closer look at my beliefs and it gives me the humility to admit at the very least that I COULD be wrong. None of us should ever believe that we have The Truth completely locked down and figured out. I am always open to receive. As I pour out I hope and pray that others pour in.
And to my dear brother who thought I was Catholic. Its JESUSIST not Jesuit. LOL. Honest mistake, my friend.....and thanks for disagreeing with me.

Do you know I've never seen this name before but decided to coin it myself, just run a Google search and I stumbled on this wonderful website. Danke (thanks in German) for your courage and time to share this wonder piece.
Just a bit time I discovered what's Jesusist! About me, I sometimes now that the four canonical gospels are the real basis of Jesusism. Jesus is for me the Teacher, the Savior and the Maschia/Christos. For our times, since canonical list got established, I've a kind of thought about First Testament but also New Testament as rather inspîred Scriptures comments but after Gospels! From Ten Commandments to John the Baptist, the only Scriptures are Tanach (Old testament) and after Christ until Revelation book Christian texts were paul,Peter,John..... and "Old Testament of course!" But as soon as the four Gospels got known, written and preached, the basis Scriptures for Christian became Gospels. It's only my own analysis, nothing else! But all Jew Tanakh and Christian list are really inspired. I'm not at all an antisemistic sweeping out "Old Testament"! Jesusist/Christians should never forget the debt we have toward Jews, it would be a serious sin! But in all these biblical books, the four Gospels are now the real basis for Jesusist/Christian. I also accept every bible books as inspired by God. Every thing we know of God is coming from Jesus' theachings. Being a non-Trinitarian believer, I belong to a French Protestant Church. (from 1988 to 2022, I served as a AoG Church elder and following years a lay preacher for a United Church. The dogmas, faith tenets are all given by Holy Gospels, and in other bible books, I get some explanations. Only Gospels give nature and image of God; Jesus being His only Son! Jesus called God his father and his God. Jesus has all power from his Heavenly Father and as consequence Jesus could forgive everybody's sins; when dying on Calvary Cross got accomplished the last and only sacrifice got done. By his death, we obtain our sins forgiveness. After when rising up from deads, the salvation was completed! I think that every salvation element got accomplished! Jesus explained himself being the Meshia/Christos. Some readers will think I'm a traditional Christian believer, I will answer OK, I'm! But for me Gospels are the first basis of knowledge about God and Christ! And if we got no more Scriptures excepted four Gospels, we would have the necessary to be saved! yes, we would be missing lot of interesting and important literature, but not our salvation!
